Onboard Service Campaign | Seven Kestrel

DRASS recently visited the Seven Kestrel in Denmark, delivering targeted upgrades across automation, control, and mechanical systems, enhancing operational capability for Subsea7 — and marking 14 years since the integration of its DRASS 100-Series saturation diving system.

Team Roberto Piancatelli & Kamer Debrova executed a high-impact automation and control scope spanning software, hardware, and integrated architectures — including platform upgrades, HMI refinements, engineering updates, and onboard validation to ensure smooth alignment with existing systems.

Team Andrea Vaccai & Marco Mazzoni carried out the PLC Health Check, confirming configuration integrity, performance, and functional robustness across the control architecture.

Whilst Leonardo Randis supervised Bell Manhole re-machining works, ensuring compliant execution and class-ready configuration.

Delivered in close collaboration with the vessel’s crew, the campaign highlighted the teamspirit behind successful offshore operations, with David Richmond, Diving Technical Supervisor, emphasizing the professionalism of Drass personnel on board.

Calm seas and smooth ops ahead!
