MIDGET TRANSPORTATION AND RECOVERY BARGE (MTRB)
The MTRB is a multipurpose semi-submersible barge capable of hosting up to two Drass Midget Submarines. The MTRB can provide maintenance and logistic support to the Midget Submarines, and can be towed as a deployable base in port and protected waters. Four (4) anchors allow for mooring and positioning in open sea.
Two (2) Smith brackets are installed for towing by a tug. The bow is profiled with a streamlined shape to facilitate the navigation.
The barge represents a cost-effective deployable base, enabling an extensive range/number of the crafts within protected areas of operation.
