Last week, DRASS completed maintenance and upgrades on board the LWI/DSV Well Enhancer in Aberdeen, marking 20 years of trusted partnership since the integration of its Drass 100-Series saturation diving system.

Team Alessandro Benincasa, Geppetti Luca & Roberto Carabici installed and tested the new Bell Trolley Pliers upgrade—an advanced DRASS-designed solution that enables automatic bell engagement via a refined internal profile. Integrating seamlessly with the existing oleo-dynamic circuit, the upgrade is set to significantly enhance the DSV’s operational capability.

In parallel, Team Daniele Bonsignori & Andrea Chiti completed the vessel’s 2-Yearly PLC Health Check, carrying out a structured review of the automation architecture, confirming system integrity, and identifying optimization opportunities to support seamless, year-round operations.
