DRASS was thoroughly honoured to be selected to be a part of the ADI Design Index 2020-2021, the annual exhibition that has championed the best of Italian design since 1956. Each year ADI (Association for Industrial Design) identifies the best Italian design in production, selected by the ADI Permanent Design Observatory. This year the prestigious show was organized in two events in Milan (from 3 to 20 June) and in Rome (from 28 June to 2 July).
DRASS has had the opportunity to showcase its state-of-the-art D-ONE DIVING HELMET. Tested for air use up to a depth of 50 msw, the originality of D-ONE helmet lies in its modularity that allows the same shell to be used in varying dive environments as necessary thanks to interchangeable pods: Standard Pod for air diving, Reclaim Pod for air diving in contaminated waters and optional Rebreather/Reclaim Pod.
All designers on the shortlist have the possibility of being awarded the esteemed ‘Compasso d’Oro ADI’ (ADI Gold Compass) award to be held at the 2022 ADI awards ceremony. Until then, we share a few photos and videos from the two events.
