Diving Simulators
Advanced Facilities for Diver Training and Equipment Testing
SIMULATOR FACILITIES
DRASS designs and builds custom simulator systems worldwide, ensuring seamless integration with local infrastructure and operational requirements.
These simulators are engineered to replicate real subsea and hyperbaric conditions, providing a controlled environment for both equipment validation and diver training.
DIVING & ABYSSAL SIMULATOR
The diving simulator enables divers to train in air and saturation diving and supports submarine crew exercises for safe DISSUB escape with progressive training, automation, and health monitoring.
Separately, the large pressure tank operates as an Abyssal Simulator for pressure testing of equipment, materials, and protocols in wet and dry environments to depths of 1000 msw.
- Realistic Training: Double-compartment chambers replicate the size of actual saturation diving systems, ensuring ergonomic benefits during training.
- Safe: Automatic hyperbaric atmosphere control systems manage pressurization cycles and key environmental parameters (oxygen, CO₂, humidity, temperature), guaranteeing maximum safety.
- Future-Proof Design: Modular architecture allows easy upgrades, with built-in features such as a manhole for connecting additional chambers and expandable control panels without disrupting existing installations.
DRASS i100 AUTOMATION
The simulators are part of the Drass 100 Series shares its technology and uses the i100 automation as control system.
The market reference standard nowdays, it allows, in complete safety, the execution of pressure management cycles, operating pressurization, maintenance, and decompression systems.

TESTING FACILITIES
Drass also operates advanced testing facilities at its headquarters in Livorno, Italy, dedicated to subsea and hyperbaric technologies. These facilities are available to third parties for validating the performance, safety, and reliability of diving systems, rescue equipment, and hyperbaric chambers prior to deployment in real-world operations.
