This week Navy Leaders CNE 2026 brings together senior naval leaders and defence stakeholders from over 85 nations to shape the future of maritime and underwater capability.

Former Special Forces Officer Marco Spaziano represents Drass this week, supporting engagement with navies and industry.

On the agenda, the Italian Navy SMER team, led by Captain Andrea Molaschi, Chief of the Italian Navy Submarine Escape and Rescue (SMER) organisation, together with Commander Cristiano Raffaele Martino, Chief of the 1st Section – Propulsion Systems, Italian Naval Armaments Directorate, presented the DRASS SAVER Submarine Rescue System. The briefing highlighted the critical role of advanced intervention and rescue capability, showcasing the technological expertise underpinning next-generation undersea support solutions and prompting valuable discussion across operational and technical themes.
