DRASS at Navy Tech 2026 | Driving the Future of Underwater Operations

DRASS Group wrapped up a successful showing at Navy Tech 2026 in Gothenburg (3–5 February), connecting with naval delegations, industry leaders, and international partners across three days of technical discussions, demonstrations, and collaboration.

Day 1 kicked off with strong engagement at the DRASS stand, where visitors explored our underwater systems, compact submarines, and advanced subsea capabilities.

A highlight of Day 2 was the well-attended DRASS presentation, “Shaping the Future of Underwater Operations: From Human Precision to Intelligent Autonomy.”, exploring: Italian stealth swimmer delivery vehicles in the drone era; Large autonomous underwater vehicles combining human expertise with AI autonomy; and Next-generation compact submarines for contested undersea domains.

It also showcased how human pilot knowledge is transferred to unmanned systems like RONDA, leveraging AI-driven learning frameworks and integrated payload architectures to meet evolving naval mission demands.

Day 3 focused on partner meetings and technical follow-ups, with progress on integrating Forcys vehicle systems and sensor payloads into DRASS RONDA LUUVs. The result: enhanced modular payload architecture, improved operational flexibility, and actionable capabilities for modern naval operations.

Across the three days, Navy Tech 2026 provided a hands-on forum for collaboration, innovation, and advancing the future of underwater and autonomous operations — reinforcing DRASS’s leadership in subsea defence technology.
