D-ONE Diving UpsideDown? “NO FLOODING!” — Over the past few weeks, Florida-based commercial diving company AC PLUS MARINE, INC. has been putting the D-ONE helmet through its paces—and the feedback has been nothing short of outstanding. Here’s what Vice President, Chuck Phillippe, had to say this week: Today’s most innovative helmet, for today’s most demanding dives. AC Plus Marine Inc., located in Kissimmee, Florida, delivers high-quality underwater services across a range of complex environments, specializing in inspection, maintenance, and repair operations for underwater infrastructure—including pipelines, dam structures, stormwater systems, and confined spaces. With a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and precision, AC Plus Marine is trusted for mission-critical underwater operations in both public and private sectors.
“Quick note. I think 12-14 of our divers – I’ve lost count – have now dove the helmet! Getting lots of good feedback, and they’re becoming more familiar and knowledgeable with it. Interesting test. We dive a lot of pipelines, pits, dam structures, etc. Many times, the diver must be inverted head down. The XXs are not good for that. They tend to flood. The D-ONE is an excellent head-down position helmet. We have a video of one of our divers underwater on his head! Looks great! No issues no flooding! Sending a couple of photos here and videos later.”
